What a spot gets you
Not points. Not stamps.
Rewards schemes hand everyone a stamp card and a free coffee on the tenth visit. The List isn’t for everyone — that’s the point. Each venue gives the people on its list up to three perks you can’t buy, can’t earn with points, and can’t ask for.

First call
First to book tasting nights, new menus and limited releases — before anyone else hears about them.
A table when there isn’t one
Held tables and priority bookings on the nights the place is full.

Priority appointments with your barber, even on a fully booked Saturday.

Evenings and events only the people on the list are invited to.

The staff know who you are. Your usual, started before you reach the counter.

How a spot works

Get nominated in person.
There is no sign-up form and no way to apply. Staff nominate the regulars they know, using a physical card behind the counter. The owner approves each one.

Hold your spot — and its perks.
Once approved you hold a numbered spot on that venue’s list, carried as a member card in The List app with the perks that come with it — alongside every other venue you belong to.

Keep it by coming back.
Scan the check-in code at the counter each time you visit. Every visit resets your spot clock. Miss the window and you get a 7-day grace period to reclaim your spot before you fall off the list.

Good to know
- What kind of perks?
- Each venue chooses up to three, and they’re never just a discount: off-menu orders, first access to events and releases, held tables, priority appointments, members’ nights. You see a venue’s perks on your member card the moment you’re approved.
- How is this different from a loyalty card?
- A loyalty card is for everyone and pays you back in stamps. The List is for a few — a capped number of regulars per venue, chosen by the people who know them — and what it gets you can’t be bought or earned with points.
- Do members pay?
- No. The List is free for members. Venues subscribe per location.
- Can I ask for a spot?
- No — and that’s the point. Spots are only given by nomination, in person, at the venue.
- What happens if I stop visiting?
- Your spot clock runs down. The app reminds you before it runs out, then gives you 7 days of grace. After that your spot goes to someone else — and you can be nominated again later.
- Which venues are on The List?
- Independent coffee bars, restaurants, barbershops, cocktail bars and other places that live on repeat customers. We are opening venue by venue.
